Stella is a Chinese Australian children's book illustrator based in Sydney whose origin story began with her love for drawing potato people and lumpy dogs as a child.

​

 Her story continues with her graduating with a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication at UTS, then sharing her art with the world at markets/fairs and her favourite accomplishment to date - becoming the author/illustrator of her dream picture book about Lunar New Year!

​

She now spends her time working with publishers and authors to create picture books that aim to entertain, educate and empower children. Some things never change and she will always be enchanted by colour palettes, textures and being able to fill each page with wit, fascination and layered characters.
